Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Who disagrees that the CFO needs to be fired, and a replacement CEO sought

Ever since these guys took over the company direction, strategy, profitability, stock price, market credibility, employee morale are all gutted. A massive buyback was engineered leading to gross loss of market cap bigger than the buyback!! The CFO doesn't know how to do his job. The CEO has spiking employee disapproval ratings. Why do these people have their jobs let aside the humongous bonuses they sucked off ? Is there a thing as an employee and investors opinion or they just literally own this company and the employees and investors sponsor their 50million/yr packages. After massive business losses and poor forecasting and strategy how the heck did they get away unhindered and now hired BCG to cut more heads to sponsor their next massive bonus check. Who disagrees with this and why?

2781, Can't agree more about SJ.. The current CEO, COO and CFO should be fired.

Clearly, the flop is due to the execution. they must go through massive restructure. Need lots of attention to operational failures and weed out all ineffective people including site-leads across the globe.

Agree.

SM is not a good leader no is he a visionary.he does not have breakthrough ideas of his own nor can he effectively implement visionary ideas of others...

Anyone who has worked for some time under Sanjay Jha can know the difference ASAP.

SJ was ruthless with others, but pushed himself too to the limits of human tolerance physically day after day. Could manage with 3 to 4 hours of sleep and works for years. More importantly had real leadership skills. QC would do well to bring him back from Global Foundaries...
