She had no skills, no qualifications to begin with. Most of the projects she led had failed. This was even before she became president. I always wonder how she became president. An RCG has better skills than her.

Also - Renee is being paid $4M to stay through the end of the year and if she signs a release. It is filed in an SEC 8-k report that you can look up on the SEC website. I checked - when Pat Gelsinger left Intel (to go to VMWare), he a) said where he was going, and b) Intel filed NO documents for buying him out. Renee's leaving is definitely not by choice.

You do realize Renee was also fired, right? She left to pursue a CEO position. Who leaves a job to search for a job? And she would have been CEO if she stayed put and did her job correctly.

Renee is leaving to give BK the rope he needs to hang himself. Two in a box means two people responsible - we now see that number reduced to one. Over the next year, the only three financial indicators that will matter are: the annual amount of free cash flow, (P/E) price-to-earnings-ratio, and the dividend percent yield. We're about to cross a financial rubicon so If we see performance declines on any of the three financial indicators listed above, and it's very likely we will, the board of directors will begin tightening the noose. It's wait and see from this point forward but the outlook isn't great.

If her future role has been announced (intentionally) then she must be going to the competitors like Qualcomm or AMD, BK is steering the ship to a wrong direction.....

Good riddance. She never had a chance at being CEO of Intel anyway. It is a strange announcement. No exec pre announces their intentions of becoming CEO of another company in future and is allowed to stay for 6 months.

Kate Upton is a better image of diversity

This company is on the decline any, people will be jumping ships. Another thing you will is the company splitting into two or three and after few years on of the two/three will be sold.

I don't shed a tear, she made millions for doing nothing.

no big deal.. she was more of an image to show diversity in the workplace. Brian the CEO runs the show.

This does not matter to most employees except bad PR for Intel's diversity image for execs.
