Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

BI KMG Saved their ass....

I have been chopped off this june and can very well say that KMG played a lot of role in this lay off. BI engineering + EBI is left with some brainless leader. I have reported to a senior manager whom I think he was no good in anything that I do. I think he got the same favour during recruitment as axing the staff. Its no brainer guys - You need somebody to get the things done and all who are left has never managed this for long time. this layer will now bring someone again to do the same job probably at the more cost. Its funny to see the mockery of transformation. My KMG showed the surprised face as he didn't knew anything for this layoff and by 3 PM there was new reporting structure in place. Come on guy - you would never be able to count the TM under you without your DR help. how can you create new org structure in 3 hours.

The dark lady is the worst leader so far BI engineering has got, contributed to so many future leader. She has created army of few brainless KMG's. I have seen these KMG and one can not put is own ideas on table and will always tickling funny bone. The other has lost thinking power long ago. Off course BI will sustain in sometime but with a price.

I acknowledge that Kapoor has got balls to utter the good bye speech and he did very well but the real courage is on the other side of the table whom is getting a penny if compare to Kapoor severance if he will let go.

No doubt everyone in the list will come shining from this and will be in place better then Target and will not be part of Target sinking journey.

Hola Angry fellow Targeteers.

I believe our VERY bitter OP is from India and probably speaks several more languages than any of us do. His message here is a little confusing, but I'm sure English is at least his third language if he is infact from India.... Let's cut him some slack - He's delivered his point of view.

Clearly though we are not all PROFESSIONALS posting on this board. I've been following it since February and I'd say that at least half the posters never worked for Target and are definitely Trolls, they get most of the terminology wrong and for some really sick reason get off on winding people up that may be losing their jobs.

Cheers!

Professional.........

I don't recall seeing where the site asked me to post my age, education level or even place of current/former employment before hitting the submit button. All I had to do is enter a couple of captcha numbers before I posted this.

Besides, it's all anonymous. I could be a 15 year old kid for all you know.

Don't try and make this out to be a "professional" discussion when we all know anyone can post here.

That being said, the OP's grammar is horrible and I didn't even graduate high school. :)

Ok, a "professional" gossip site, if you prefer (and even on cheesy gossip sites, I expect people to write above a 4th grade level is they want to go public with their brilliant analysis of Brad and Angela or JLO).

Anger is no excuse for being incomprehensible. If anything, that is when you should be at your most concise. Most of us here have reason to be angry.

This is not facebook, Anonymous111863. This is a professional site. OP sounds bitter and angry, and probably that is the reason why is not even articulating well.

If you want to work for an American company, have the language proficiency first.

I'm sorry 111863, but this is supposed to be a community of PROFESSIONALS, here to support each other. As someone who was laid off, this site is as close to an organization that represents me and what I'm thinking. When someone posts something that is frankly an embarrassment, it reflects (fairly or not) on us all.....and gives justification to the lay-offs where in many cases there was no justification or the criteria was not evident..

To A hole critics of OP. They are not writing a book or story trying to win a Pulitzer here. GTFO if you can't get the general gist of frustration people have and are just trying to express, regardless of grammatical correctness.

Anonymous111772 is correct. Your grammar is just horrible. I am impressed you were even able to graduate from college with that English.

Hate to say this.....but you're not helping your case if you can't bother to write an understandable, grammatically correct letter.

Good luck in your next endeavor.
