Have any others IM had issues getting SLB to respond to background check requests. I got a new job that I am about to lose because SLB hasn't responded to the request. AskHR has been useless. What they tell me is different than they told my new employer. I can't get anyone to confirm they got the request or just send the information to the contact info I have. At this point, the new employer is going to pull my offer if they don't get a response soon and no one at SLB seems to be able to help me. Any ideas?

They are full of it. Wish I never worked there.
This will only work for existing employees, make copies of you SLP-3 reviews and keep them in your personal records. If the reviews were favorable then so much the better. While it isn't official it would be an additional item to help show that you were employed by Schlumberger.

LDAP record is hidden after an employee is let go or leaves. No one can pull up LDAP record of former employee. Additionally, what kind of proof would it be ? I could easily fake it.
W-2 is the way to go.
I have had a similar issue with them a few years ago and the new employer (major operator) eventually accepted my W-2s for those years as proof.
