So has every pyramid been touched at this point? Perhaps "round one" is complete and next come the more "surgical" layoffs that are decided by leadership and less by Bain...Anyone know if that's usually how these things progress?

Health and Beauty is coming up with the CVS sales so pharmacy and clinics are coming. Despite the whole "end of the year" talk for CVS, why should Target continue to put money into these areas when they are losing money? I think pharmacies will stay open but my guess is that clinics will close down earlier than that and have layoffs.
Yes L&D in Bangalore will be next. that area has not been impacted
More coming in TI. With over 400+ exits in last 12months, there is no need for a Large HR and OE team to support. And further cuts in Merch and TTS. They wer'nt impacted that much. This will happen in small waves.
HR was affected by the RIF in January 2014, the Canada RIF, the big RIF in March and also a few people were cut in the most recent one in June (HROC). No one is safe, no one is promising to staunch the flow from BCs bloodletting. If someone tells you that the cuts have ended in your pyramid, don't be gullible.
