I was told wft wouldnt pay for the move. It was on the employee to pay if they want to keep their job.

They have no money to relocate employees. It cost about $50,000 to relocate if you own a home. I was asked to relocate and said yes, than was layed off 3 months later. Thank goodness I didn't relocate , be in a new town with no job. They have done that to other employees. Had them move and than close the district.

I know that, but they looking at the shops that are left. They want to be located in more urban or metro areas so there would be a better applicant pool when hiring...

Stuttering four time poster hope you're going to take up the offer seems you cant get to grips with basic PC skills! You're not from accounts by any chance multiple pressing of the enter key probably added to the layoffs suppliers were very happy some got paid twice. Hope you get and take up the offer.

The US Oil boom is over just like the Gold rush ghosts towns will appear its happening right now. Oil companies should look out of the US to do business Asia markets are taking off just a pity the US seem to have an agenda of pissing off every other country. The way to these riches is through Russian involvement but hey they managed to piss them off big style defending Ukraine a country stuck in the 1970s.full of beggars and prostitutes who could blame Putin for defending his territory against Euro bozos and Nazis if the US had their Navy cut off I am sure they would do the same has nobody learned any lessons from WW2? History will show Putin was right lets hope the US don't piss the bear off too much as strangulation of the US economy will become reality or worse WW3 until the government makes up with Russia Oil workers will continue to suffer more downs than ups for years to come

A-111470; the intranet postings are false positives that mirror a shadow with no realistic proof behind it. With all of the layoffs, HR has too much to unfold and concentrate on nevertheless start hiring processes. I would say that what you see on our end is only part of the game... Just like the letter a few weeks ago about the discontinuation of layoffs... In order to boost morale with a touch of confidence for the stockholders. It's still going down, and they are still laying off quietly, closing facilities and keeping poor management afloat. You will see transfers of failing districts taking over stabilized facilities and wonder how WFT can afford that and still lay off as I have recently. This is now a poorly structured company with poorly managed executive branches. It's bankrupting itself, on purpose, going out with a bang like a dying poor person with loads of debt that still has credit up the ying-yang. As long as I am still collecting a paycheck, I'm stuck like the rest of you... Waiting and waiting for a miracle.

If they offered every employee a separation package that equaled the severence they would recieve, it would be surprising how many would take it.

Maybe layoffs are over because there are alot of jobs posted on intranet. Maybe its starting to get better.
