All the insane things Safeway had store managers due that didn't matter to customers, employees, or the business have gone away. The new company is making good decisions. Need to continue daily out of stock scans, to reduce out of stocks and increase sales.
Backstage safeway job cuts have taken dollars out of the equation so hotter ads can be written to drive customer traffic and better price points. IT investment and upgrades in the Albertsons stores will help drive sales-they need the upgrade.
Backstage to store communication is an issue.
Reducing the employee discount in the Texas safeway stores is not a good move, Contests are great... but you have to pay the contest rewards.
