Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Hello from Stores

So... sounds like HQ is has been hectic. Let me just say stores aren't any better. First myTime is a terrible terrible invention. You all talk about accountability but if Stores Financials is taking days to get back to us with responses because we don't have hours to fully staff multiple work centers, something has to give. Right now it's Stores being held accountable for not scheduling properly. But really, how do we run a business if Stores can't get the information needed to publish a weekly schedule in a timely manner with adequate numbers of team members to you know.... put away reshop, help guests, fill the floor, or even answer the phone? Don't get me started on mySupport and the CSC (how many times will myDevices not work this week guys?). I get it's all because the person who used to do "this" no longer works here, but these changes ARE affecting stores as well. It's not for the better. Oh, and the plan to have Stores advertise TCOM (and tying that to AE) as opposed to buying advertising, improving site SEO, and UX is ridiculous.

Walmart is winning the retail race though.... Who cares what the stores are like, they are obviously doing well... Its not all about designer shit because most Americans cannot afford that crap anyways.

Personally I find it more challenging to shop our stores every week. The cost cutting is turning the company into Walmart.
