In the earnings call SM said that femtocells was an area of focus. That surprised me because I don't find femtocells useful aside from making phone calls. Wifi is everywhere and our ISP has hotspots everywhere. Since our team works on femtocells, I assumed our jobs were safe. However I don't see a future for, especially since others already have femtocell solutions, like Bcom, while we are still developing. What is everyone's thoughts on the future of femtocells? Only serious responses please.

Sm doesn't have any clue of what will happen... We can only do modems and high end socs, every other experiment over the years miserably failed... For God's sake we are the ones who made the qualcomm toq...
Broadcom has femtocells? I did not know that! Who are the big players in this space right now?
