How to transition from Engineering to HR?

HR gets paid pretty well, and all they need to be are rude corporate stooges. I can do that. I'm assuming I should enroll at SDSU so I can get a real degree (BS in psychology). Didn't Freud say Layoffs are what HR dreams are made of?

if you throw everything out of the window before doing the opposite, then you won't know what the opposite is, because everything's already out the window.

My guess is that you're already part of HR.

It's easy to transition from engineering to HR. Step 1...Take everything that you can think of as an engineer that makes logical sense, that is the most efficient way of doing things, that is the most rational thing that any person with any reasonable sense of logic would do...Step2...throw that completely out the window.....and do the exact opposite...
