Pun intended, competitors are chipping away QC chip business by coming up with cheaper chips.

Anonymous135991 - I think it's Intel's XMM 7260 modem that people are talking about. No pun intended, but other companies are slowly chipping away at Q's core business.

Who was talking about 6s? I thought all the rumors are for some possible low tier "6c" offering

@5893,

You can bet the IPhone 6S is going to be exclusively QC. The next version - who knows. Also having close relatives work at both places and come back to QC - things are not smooth in the INTC mobile division either. If you know ask folks who work on both solutions - either at Huawei or in the Microsoft Surface, which solution is easier to integrate and more stable by a mile ( the answer is not the Santa Clara based company). And yes, in the 5 year time frame my money would be on QC in mobile.

It's a real shame analysts don't buy millions of chips

Cool, $85 should make a nice exit point for Jana!

Q should be way ahead of intel. The question is how much and how fast will intel be able to close that gap. If the announcement about intel being in the iphone 6s is true then the closing of that gap has begun in earnest. Check back in 5 years and see where the companies are. (Hint - my bet is on intel).
