Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

Cost of drilling

Used to be around $60. Now they say there are new technologies and you can drill cheaper. How much cheaper and what is the cost for OPEC?

The speculation is the oil price will drop to $30. OPEC keeps pumping. How US companies are still surviving?

You can drill 6 wells for free if you buy Halliburton's integrated drilling service program. Its a one off special offer that won't last

I care about oil prices. I have my money invested in the oil business.

The ones that lost their jobs to the more luckier or connected ones should really care less about the oil prices. They are now part of the general population.

It's all about bankrupting the last hold outs of the NWO; chiefly Russia and Iran (whom will now compete with each other as they are Europe's go to sources of crude oil). Actually the Saudi's need $100+ oil to balance their books (as do the Iranians and Russians) and pay for all their social give-aways. No this is all orchestrated by Dollar Inc.

US companies are not surviving. That is the whole point of the exercise. OPEC would like $100 but not at the cost the US govt requires. All of this could have been easily avoided but WTI was low priority on the agenda. You think this is somehow personal. It's not. Everyone is being hurt - just not equally.
