Who all are safe??

I heard that top performers have been informed that they are safe and they need not worry about the layoffs.. Is this true??

I was basically told that my group is "safe". Really disappointed because I was hoping for a GTFO package. Oh well, guess I might as well just GTFO voluntarily if I'm not gonna get paid to leave the sinking ship.

Who can identify himself as high performer? If Q is able to identify low/high performer correctly, it wont be in trouble now.

I've heard nothing about high performers being identified nor have I heard anything about low performers being notified. I'm sure this is low performers have been identified but I don't think they've been notified. I guess we'll see if anyone gets notified today. But I don't think it'll happen this week. September will be the day. When the fall reviews come.

If you are in a core group and high performer you are probably safe for now. Low performs beware from all groups. If whole groups are cut its hard to imagine Qualcomm trying to place people when all other groups are so bloated.

Sometimes.

So many other factors.

Future needs, HR considerations, finance, too many in same title.

I"ve learned at other companies when the layoffs come.. can be anyone for any reason.

Hope for the best, plan for the worst.
