Idiots. Apc can't afford to keep paying for close to 6000 workers with decreasing net income. Tons of perks like airplanes and hunting camps aren't being shed. SO....A sale or layoffs ----- or both ------ are on the horizon. Face the music folks ----- this is the 80s all over again. Hunker down and SAVE save save.

I don't think that is the case. What this all comes down to is 43.00 plus oil. APC has kept us all employed at this price range, and to be honest we all need to appreciate the fact we are not looking for work with all the other people laid off in the industry. Times are tough so we all need to tighten our belts and appreciate the fact you have a salary and insurance. You might think you want to be laid off or bought out, but believe me the money runs out faster than you think. Unemployment pays around 480.00 every two weeks for six months or more. Try sending kids to college, pay a mortgage, and stay a float on that. COBRA insurance will run you around 2K a month for your family.In other words work your a$$ off to keep your job.
