A source in HR has told me that all managers are being put on an 18 month "retainer" basically to avoid firing talent. During this time they will receive 100% of their salary but are forbidden by contract to apply for work elsewhere. This source told me that 4 managers have already accepted these terms. Must be nice to not have to go to work for 1.5 years!
