I heard rumblings about store level layoffs today. ETLs and other management positions. Anything being whispered about that?

FYI these organizational changes happen in the stores all the time. They're not handled as layoffs per se.
ETL-AP is already out the door in lowest stores. It's been combined with ETL-HR.
I think ETL-HR and ETL-AP both could go out the door. Target cares little for these positions anyways. And with Self-checkouts rolling out to the stores, we could easily cut 20% of cashiering hours by having the GSTL/GSA run the self-checkouts.
A 20% reduction of ETLs doesn't sound like normal ebb and flow following Christmas - is this part of the Transformation?
