SOC design team consolidation

SOC design teams are being consolidated in Folsom. You know what that means.

I doubt how that would reduce headcount/operational cost. 200 in AZ and 200 in Folsom vs 400 in folsom? How does that help

doubt there will be ISP this year as well but like mentioned, redeployment and site consolidation without a doubt. Here is what they could say. We have decided to consolidate your group and you will have a job if you move to AZ/Oregon, and you have 6 months to relocate otherwise redeployment.

and one of my contacts got hired into that group recently. I doubt they would open reqs when the group is getting terminated.

Where did you get this information from? SOC teams I am told are there across US, so they are going to cancel all the jobs in the US and just retain the ones only in Folsom. I doubt.
