@ 130880: I believe that was a snarky comment. Most people who actually plan on filing a lawsuit don't advertise.

You should get a better lawyer. You have no idea how hard it is to prove any of the things you are accusing them of. They have meetings way before you ever know what's coming: your reviews are approved by HR and legal before they PIP you so good luck. Employee lawsuits for these practices are incredibly difficult to win and with Q's employment law attorneys being the best in the biz you will waste time and emotional energy fighting for not much more than you woudkngetbin your severance IF you won on Any of the things you are claiming. good luck. Any good attorney would have told you this up front. Especially anyone who has dealt with Q in the past.
Make my attorney who is working on cntingency happy: Let me know how many break rooms do NOT have copies of your rights as an employee posted prominently!
This Q corruption is fascism of new millenium; they have a well oiled sweatshop in place; all the lawyers money can buy; politicians in their pocket: sounds like a Hollywood scenario.
They have the best legal team money can buy. They've also got politicians in their pocket thru QDonations.
To me, Q achilles heel in case of legal action would be: sweatshop it created in Sorrento valley, its hiring practice replacing Americans with H1bs thru phony PIP creating climate of insecurity among workforce, resulting in 2 suicides in the past. How DOL has not been able to do anything?
Me too. Please post
The Qappening
Can't wait to see pics. Hopefully some of CorpIT. They're straight up ballers!
I have pics, some execs, some vp/dir from many areas including HR. Cocaine, marijuana, drunk, affairs, and more....at work. If I get laid off you will all see the pics. HR pics first.
We have all proof of what QC is doing, please keep them handy, we have a plan to present all evidence to a team to evaluate and check for unfair practices, please hold all information, we will have a meeting shortly to develop a plan.
I see many rebuttals on how much Indians are better than white Americans. But, why don’t we see any rebuttal when actual scams are mentioned. I mean actual rebuttal to disprove those scams are actually going on. The fact is that they are real, and truth is ugly.
Unethical at all levels -- from slave Indians to the Executives.
All these talks about culture and ethic maybe do not matter any longer as the company may not exist in a few years
How can QC be ethical? It's full of scheming and conniving Indians.
Q is the biggest propaganda (brainwash) machine I have ever seen.
As a result, environment of fear and lack of trust to anyone included your coworkers is being created: this is the kind of culture at Q workplace. Of course this would be very difficult to prove in justice court. This is just unhealthy environment
If you have to fill in any kind of survey, it is never anonymous even if they tell you it is; it is an environment where nobody can be trusted.
Q is so unethical, they are never open to any sort of complaining, was directly told by director, complained to hr. no use. its unethical company filled with unethical directors/managers
At Q, the golden rule is if you have any complain against your manager, it is better to leave else they will make you out.
At Q, retaliation is a major rule
HR is there to protect Qualcomm. If you raise an issue, no matter how serious, they kick into high gear to cover it up rather than resolving it. That is the REAL Qualcomm Way!
I complained to HR once about when my boss was violating open door policy. 4 months later they put me on PIP and booted me. Believe me boys and girls, HR is not your friend. They are like lawyers, there to protect the companies assets.
One of the rules at Q is to never complain to HR otherwise you will be black listed: this is one of Q internal practice.
Qualcomm's HR doesn't have a clue. They work (as was stated earlier "in a vacuum"). They have their own building and NEVER venture out into the real world of Qualcomm. Frankly, this is one department that should be cleaned out and re-org'ed.
HR is trying to tell you something - don't complain. Remember the golden rule.
Jing Wang, The former Executive Vice President and President of Global Business Operations for Qualcomm Inc., was sentenced to 18 months in prison and fined $500,000 on 6/26/2015 for his role in a three-year insider trading scheme and money laundering. That is because he forgot to read the HR's booklet.
same thing complained to HR and next review went low.
HR writes these things in a vacuum. When I complained about unethical actions and policies in Qualcomm, I got a 2.75 rating the next review period.
Why yes, I have! And their pre-layoff practices appears to violate several of them! My lawyer is having a field day with it, as we speak!
