My first major job was just to make sure register 0 was set. Then I was promoted to Senior Software Engineer, where my new responsibility was to make sure registers 0 and 1 were set. Most recently, I was promoted to Staff Engineer, where now I am responsible for making sure registers 0-3/are set. But damn those H1-Bs who are now willing to do more work and set registers 0-7. That's something only a Senior Staff Engineer with proper training should do.

If you have your MBA you can be promoted to Senior Delegation Manager. Requirements are status collecting, Credit stealing, be able to control 2 reports. If not they're hiring all over California for this role
