AKM drove CHK to the verge of insolvency, AEP is picking up dimes on the corner of 63rd and Harvey to try and stay afloat, and CHK stock is down nearly 75% from the 2014 high. Maybe McClendon and Lawler are not the greatest leaders. Also, Tom Ward basically learned the ropes from AKM. How is Sandridge doing? I'd say their primary talent is getting rich, and they are all three very good at that.
Amusing part is how stupid some of you folks are. Like some kind of AKM cult. GO ON DOWN TO AEP ALREADY!!

Agree with Ho hum. Dougie is loosing money right along with the rest of us. He's probably loosing more than all of us put together! The current problems with Chesapeake are because Aubrey sold too much snow to Eskimos and now we are paying the price. Fact. Now Get over it and place blame where blame is due..... Read what's being written by the analyst. CHK is now for the first time EVER - in the TOP ranking in operational metrics .... But fact.... In this pricing environment the thing weighting down the CHK stock is the AKM LEGACY $11MILLION DEBT created with selling all that snow!
@ho hum, I AM OUT. Still have a vested interest in the stock price not equating to a pile of shit. As should anyone who lives and works in the OKC metro. Believe me, another 800 people laid off in this environment will be very bad news for many.
