High all! Has anyone heard the latest rumor? Word on the street is that the buyouts will not be based on years of service, but your current accelerated review rating. Higher (> 5 in TRT) rated individuals will get 2 months plus a multiplier of $£¥€, while slackers will get just a little over 2 months. What do my other cheerleaders say?

At least 60 day WARN act with termination date in late November so that next RSU batch vest.
Then 2 weeks for every year plus a fixed amount grade (sr engr, staff) dependent minimum two months
There is mention you can leave before WARN act expires if you wish.

Doesn't this defeat the purpose of performance reviews, in which you get rid of the low performers first? Lol. If true, this sort of logic wouldn't surprise me, coming from Q HR....
