Fair to say number of employees in HQ San Diego will be a lot smaller within 5 years; by then SM and his crew will have completed their hold up: I guess not everybody loses.

Between hiring in low cost regions, the H1b stuff, I am afraid it could be a lot more than 4,500 layoffs; I hope to be wrong.

Maybe we need to dissect what S&M said. He said that QC will reduce fulltime workforce by 15%. Maybe H1B are not part of the full time workforce. H1B is a temporary work visa.

Its a false news. Out of 4500 people to be laid off, more than 90% would be H1 workers.
