The only thing I know about KLX Energy is that they were in our town, and opened up a charge account with our store, have since moved out, and still owe us $1447.00 that I have been fighting since NOVEMBER 2015 to get paid!!!!

KLX has become Weatherford, All of the management is former weatherford and at every layoff they choose legacy personnel basically if you're not weatherford bye bye. Also a lot of shady unexplained things in the P&L, made up positions so they can continue to hire weatherford management, continue to buy companies and equipment when there is no market for it, then laying off more low level people, pay cuts and service techs have been cutback to 40hr weeks, no knowledge of DOT laws, all their trailers are not compliant, no QC department to inspect equipment it will take someone dying before they will implement a QC safety sop. the business plan is to buy work, hire people based on what customers they can bring to the table, very inexperienced sales people, basically the people that ran weatherford into the ground are the powers that be at KLX/New Weatherford hell look at the logo coincidence I think not

Why would anybody not go? Why stay with the sinking ship if you can go make more money with a new company that is starting from scratch and with your old boss that you may have liked. If not at least you know what to expect. Money talks and bull$hit walks. My electric company don't care who I work for as long as my check don't bounce. If I see a job worth going after at any company I'm gonna check it out. A career advancement is what I'm after with or without wft. Remember the wft motto, to move up you got to move out.

Why would anyone in their right mind quit and go to KLX? They make promises like all the other companies and never follow through.

Anonymous 131069 that's not completely accurate. Many of the Managers were offered some ridiculous money to stay and they didn't. And how would cutting employees' wages line their pockets better? They aren't high enough up the food chain to get a massive bonus for cutting costs, which would be minuscule at the most. Face it, good people left WFT because they got tired of the empty promises, micro management, and management by fear.

You are right 130394 about the management that went to KLX, they didn't like the heat of upper management trying to make change for the better so they all jumped ship. They probably cut your wages so they could line their pockets better, they did the same over here and had to run because the new upper management was finding out.

I work for the former company Vision, now KLX. These goofballs they brought in for management are a joke. It is Weatherford! My wages have been manipulated already. They bring there own hands over and I get the shaft. Management is all Weatherford, I heard some of them didn't/couldn't hack it over there why try over here. Grapevine says we are getting wages cut in near future, somebody elaborate.

I'm in the Rockies, field chatter is that KLX and Weatherford are in some real aggressive negotiation about a merger.

Please and thank you KLX for entering all these areas. Entering regions at a recklessly rapid pace in a down market is usually a smart strategic move right? Actually they should put two stores in as it seems to be a trend of there's. Not only should they open shop, maybe bring some district management into the area like they have thus far. Can they even hire right now? What day do the second quarter numbers release?

I hope klx goes everywhere weatherford is. It sounds like they are getting a mix of people from field to management. Some of us can't move up the ladder unless those ahead of us move out of the away. Might be good for some of us young bucks in the system. Might be the only way we can get promoted and advance our careers. I wanna advance one way or another.

I hope wft puts all the ship jumpers in the dirt and they all come crawling back. The ones that left knew they were leaving and laid people off before going. They should have saved those workers and took the respectful high road. They made shops short handed for their gain at a competiter. Now the market is saturated with pissed off ex-wft hands and looking for any chance to bring any wft shops or the company down with them. Hmm maybe they laid off the workers to hire at new jobs and let them, get a severence....you never know.funny how shady things can get......

KLX has endless money. They will never have layoffs. If you don't believe me, just ask someone who works there. They're turning KLX into WFT. Massive layers of management and no regard for the personnel that allowed Vision to prosper into KLX. Their ascent has been dramatic, as will their fall.

I hear they pay good. Money talks and bs walks. Whats your opinion, go to a new company that may fail OR stay at wft that may being failing? Both are very iffy

Too bad they getting the good workers and leaving the bad eggs at weatherford. I wish some of the old timers would move over and let a younger generation try new things.

In this down turn market contracts are not in play as most are nul and void due to excess discounts. If and when the ever decide to try California out they would need key people in place. When I was in California with baker it was a close knit connection based clientele. Especially in the south. We can al just hope the end is near for low oil and we all can go back to work. Good luck men and hold on tight. Big things happen everyday every where.

KLX Energy will undercut every contract going the thing is when the upturn comes KLX will be stuck in penny contracts and will quickly fall to the side.

Maybe they are getting the good ones now. And letting these bad ones ruin weatherford. Make the sale price a little cheaper with no business
