Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

More than 75% of TTS to be let go?

Coworker was in an all-dotcom mtg yesterday. New CIO showed up and said he ran a much more complicated operation with just 500 people. Doesn't TTS have at least 2000 right now?

Easy there, professor. I simply reported what he said. Apparently you found a way to Google team meetings? I realize the likeliness of losing your job has got your pleated Dockers in a twist, but your time might be better spent looking for a job.

Anyone know how many people are in TTS- US and India, or team members vs. contractor?

If you think those numbers are anywhere near reality kindly step away from the keyboard and turn in your badge. Not only are you clueless about the place you work but also can't do basic Googling before posting to get external facts right. Oh wait ... you don't work at Target but are a troll. I think the appropriate response is "sod off"!

Look, if we are only going to deliver 75 projects a year, you don't need everyone we have today when we are managing 800 projects (his number). Business has kept us hopping.

He still has not got any buy-in to reduce that number.

He is an egotistical bastard, he'll get put in his place soon enough by his partners. Everyone thinks they did it right at old job when coming in...I'm sure there are people at Tesco that think his shop was crap.

Oh, didn't they just have some big financial disaster at Tesco that his wonderful systems should have caught if proper controls in place.
