I hate wearing a badge which is color coded to identify me as an immigrant. I know of no other company that does this nonsense...fail Qualcomm HR.

Nonsense 4132...my badge turned blue the minute I was done with my immigration and on a green card..I am still not a citizen ...the color is for immigration and it has nothing to do with security or IP..Ofcourse you can keep thinking it is for the sake of justifying nonsense.
I never understood why the immigration status of employees with color coded badges and different additional colored dots or markings on them was worth a public display @Q. When I joined, I was informed of this fact, with no rational explanation. Might have something to do with security or IP sharing.
It doesn't identify you as an immigrant, it identifies you as a non-citizen; a fairly common designation in companies that mix government and private business. There is also a badge that indicates a security clearance, and I'm a citizen who doesn't have one. Should I be bitter as well?
Security clearance on some top secret govt project , I can understand...but distinction on immigration status...it's unheard off.
Maybe you didn't see the badge coz the guy was too ashamed to even show a badge...defeated purpose.
Again not a troll, just another obese Forest Ogre trying to illicit an emotional response. pay it no attention. Hey Forest Ogre, The power of Christ compels you! I cast you out! Unclean spirit! Go back from wence you came!
You can say it reminds you of people wearing star of David badge at concentration camp.
