Mediatek is here in US to fish for knowledge. As soon as you transfer your knowledge, you will be fired, not even laid off. They will simply shutdown. Mediatek’s operating cost has skyrocketed in the recent years, because of increasing investment in R&D, or translate to increasing operating cost in US. Mediatek’s cost structure will have even a hard time coping with US cost than QC.
