Target before Team, baby, lead by example.
Not really, he had to take a vacation after only 5 weeks on the job....how does that work?
He shared that we should expect changes to occur in early September. Plans to cut majority of onshore contractors, and eluded that some team members who don't fit in the new org model will be let go (we can only assume those who didn't answer the right questions on the survey).
He said it will happen this year and cannot be put off to 2016. They are assessing team member skill gaps and how training can be completed.
DevOOPS on my agile now where are my stickers?
This is concerning news. Some of our contractors have worked for target a long time, they are the keepers of a great deal of institutional knowledge and their commitment and drive for excellence is as fierce as any team member. When I think of great projects and the teams that executed them the contractors stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the employees, and actually put up with more guff than many employees. I hope this isn't a knee-jerk purge of contactors.
All team members are safe, contractor's in trouble, TTS has figured out how to fit square pegs into round holes.
Yippee!
So.....the original question still stands. Any key statements worth noting?
@Anonymous125019, I am rather big (6.7, 220 lbs), very happy (not angry) and fairly explicit (not a troll). Thank you!
124996...what's with the mean undeserving nasty comments. This is a place for sharing information. Not everyone has gravy hours and have a life. Our partners across the sea also might have missed it. Not everyone interested is in TTS. Do you ever think before u speak, angry little troll?
Yes, if you want to know what he shares then attend the meetings, otherwise bug out.
I think you should ask.. Did he tell anything about Layoffs?
