He searched for people for 1 year before he hired me for more pay on a visa, ~90000 out of college with 30K bonus only because I deserved the job not because I was cheap labor on H1. I disagree and dislike the abusive use of H1Bs who gladly take up jobs that should be for SDSU, UCSD, and USD college/master graduate.
What kind of a person you are? You come to this great country and work with the greatest people on earth (Americans) earn a living, make a life and then start abusing them. It is like biting the hand that is feeding you. BTW I am on H-1B and I feel ashamed to see this post. Everyday I feel so grateful to Americans and America for giving an opportunity to work in this great country (land of opportunities). All the anger directed towards H1B to some extent is totally valid as long as there is no abuse. Think about this somebody comes to your house and takes your place and forces to vacate you, how would you feel? It is just the same way, all that is needed is a little humility. It is totally valid that a H-1B should be laid off before a US citizen is touched, I am wholeheartedly subscribe to that school of thought.
