Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

I heard no impact on ASIC design, verification, layout etc. Is that true or are they going to be impacted as well?

As long as layout can continue to concentrate the heat we really won't need anyone else.

Can they shrink the ASIC team without impacting critical short term tapeout schedule and long term roadmap? Any slip in that would be fatal for Q, right?
