Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Shame on you Steve and Paul

You guys have crapped all over the reputation of Irwin and Qualcomm.

It's understandable that there are layoffs, because Qualcomm over-hired.

But to allow a 2% shareholder to take over and stack the board...inexcusable and shows your lack of character.

It is blatantly obvious the senior management and JANA have a 12 to 18 month horizon and will pump and dump this once great company.

How can you expect any employees to give a s*** when its obvious you don't.

Irwin will always be my hero....but honestly you guys have no ethics, no balls...go count your money

You never know what is going on behind closed doors. JANA may have threatened lawsuit for executives paying themselves large retention bonuses while the company is going down.

I think there is a lot we don't know about.

No trying to defend them, but the fact is Titanic is sinking rapidly, the cost structure is way too high with too many inefficiencies, redundancies, managers, VPs, leads etc..., and then Q has to compete with sweatshops like Mediatek who has much reduced cost structure in an industry that is becoming a commodity rapidly. They dont have too many options; just my thought
