Max is $450 a week for 6 months. No unemployment the first week, and 3 week delay
before first check. (25 weeks * $250 = $11k) $11k is not much so you are better to
get another job before others get laid off and compete.
Then you are cut off for 6 months and can't re-apply.
I don't think there are any other semiconductor companies in San Diego county (other than 1 or 2 tiny ones),
so most will have to move.
