If SM tell us that he needs to keep the high performers in the company and layoff the low performers, then I recommend to start from himself and his management team. They are reporting constantly every quarter loses and they losing markets. Then who is the high performer ?.... He should put himself and his team in the reduction team.
Irony that they call it "strategic realignment plan " . The companies they f...up, that's the companies they are using these humiliating words. If its strategic realignment, then bring new guys to realign, the same guys can't do it.
