In this industry, engineers are the factory workers of the 60's; sooner or later they will be outsourced to third world countries.
With all the millions of $ at stake in compensation, Q top executives are going to make sure they clean up the place; they dont give rat ass if you have a family to feed, a mortgage to pay, kids at school, etc...they have make sure when its their turn to leave Q they dont have to worry about working for somebody else

I agree. It is just the beginning. Local loyal employees are Qs biggest assets. Where we are today reflects poor management decision. It is obvious who needs to go.
They have it inverted, it should not be all about 'shareholders' - it should be all about 'stakeholders' which includes, customers, our country, our workers, our customers and vendors - we should take care of everyone, not only shareholders. this is a German model and they are doing much better for the environment, for the country, etc.
