Guys why don't we make Mediatek stronger by moving the best resources over there and screw SM and M-Banana? If they give us this shit lets return it!!! If not Mediatek any other competitor so they can feel that they are not the only company that can manipulate their employees.

OP, Your idea is great but I think MTK was wrong pick here. How about leaving in teams? -i.e lets say some company want to expand in particular product line related to our industry, we can collaborate and form team with particular skill set and negotiate with other company on our terms...kind of micro acquisition without middleman(management) commission, This will be win-win for both as company can get started fast on their project to get competitive advantage and Engineers get to work on their field of interest at best financial terms possible...
Some time back apple for looking around 80 folks for their processor team, Even MTK can be able to negotiate deal on our terms...
However we will need folks with leadership quality....Let me know if anyone interested to explore this further and if there are interest we can meet to brainstorm this idea further..

Huawei in Silicon Valley is hiring, but they won't sponsor for H1B. Citizens and green-cards only. I heard that if you are not Chinese, then staying at Huawei will be quite enjoyable. They will treat you as core R&D. They have enough people in mainland China to do the sweatshop labor work.
If you think you re overworked and being screwed working for a local company you re in for a surprise working for a Chinese company.
I know people that work for Huawei and ZTE, pretty miserable unless you're chinese
MTK is worse to work for. but go for it. my buddy is there, hates it. regrets leaving.
Just let you know MTK can't swallow that many folks and couple cunning weasels just come back to Q from MTK in less or about a year. I am not sure at this moment MTK will trust people from Qualcomm. And plus Q is sinking they just sit and watch then wait until SM and JANA destroy Q. No need to recruit people from Q....
