Do they have better control this time around and are simply calling people aside to a conf room for a chat? Seems to keep people in the dark up until the exact moment they are told to GTFO

a messenger pigeon will be sent to your house by 5am the day of notification. the pigeon will give you notice and then will place a homing device on your body so they can track your moves. if you attempt to drive near a work building, the super secret force of undercover q agents will fly in on jetpacks and snatch you and drop you off at mcdonalds. the layoffs will be weird. very very weird.
Yeah they like to keep you in the dark to the very last minute. They don't exactly want anybody running around in the cubicles playing quake 2
