Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Housing price already started going down in SD. see Caramel Valley significant increase in listings and price down 5%.

Schools starting soon, no buyers in September onward, best time to sell now. Rancho Penasquitoes and 4S Ranch not much activity likely increase in listings

Shit ,apparently you don't even know how to calculate 20% or even know what new construction versus resale means. I'm surprised you even managed to get a part time realtor license!

Anonymous120678, and that's exactly why you are a part time realtor. because you suck at what you are doing, both at the Q and in the RE business. Shit, you aren't even a broker. A dipshit hairdresser can be a "part time realtor".

It's not just about 4000k jobs but it's also about damaged psyche

people about to buy thinking they have a permanent job in qcom would reconsider

I agree housing market with 4000 lay offs will be impacted significantly. Not many jobs here have to move to Bay area. Timing is also not good. By the time when you ready your house for sale it will be Seotember and schools will be started, no buyers

Carmel Valley real estate has already been impacted since December when the initial layoff occurred.

The big driver to the stagnation is that there are no more Qualcomm relocations...which has boosted the prices in the area. Along with Care Fusion which exited too.

Housing prices already at the top, so time sell. Buyers should wait, once interest rate go up price will come down for sure. Inventory is increasing but not significantly
