Interesting to see how every media outlet, even most respected ones like Forbes, WSJ and others, picked up the stories of imminent headcount cuts and possible company break up. I am not a conspiracy theorist, but its seems very suspicious that all of this gets publicized in the mass media 2 days prior to earning call. Could it be one of the strategies used by execs to boost the stock price in hope that the market reacts favorably to the news? I also suspect that earning will be disastrous (no surprise here) so letting the rumors out 2 days in advance may soften the blow to stock price a bit. What do you think?

Except if the company split speculation is realized, then there will be a 10% pop, at least, based on valuation.
As always, sell on rumors. 10+% down on Thu.
I think it is very much possible
