Target is not a great place for workers right now, only shareholders count. I get some workers / retirees have target stock and this is a good run for now. But you are stupid if you have too much stock that you care about and still work here. Finance 101.

Target success means promoting yourself and not for people who just want to work and have the satisfaction of a job well done. Now, it's going to be even more aggressive because with all the layoffs, people need to step on others to make sure they are recognized. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like even that is always a guarantee of keeping your job.
There is no way JK can turn this around, BC / JM have crushed most people's spirit with broad brush layoffs of even top performers.
