Unfortunately Target India, especially Marketing is leadership heavy and full of ass holes. Very few good leaders are there but never get what they deserve. Honestly, if the Directors and group managers are removed, the company will definitely see growth in the coming days. All the people who helped the head of marketing to reach this level has been thrown out and whomever were standing with tissue paper in front of his rest room are enjoying benefits. Their full time duty is to praise him first thing in the morning. And also take care of his personal stuff like finding house for him, taking care of his family etc., Target's resources are efficiently used to please leaders which is a awe full. Despite of layoffs and setbacks Target always is of high reputation and these managers who were selling rice and biscuits are screwing up the company big time, which is really sad.

No point of shouting in this forum... Best way to convey message to Cornell is let's all technical people take off 1 complete week across target India and MPLS... Automatically he will realize his mistake.
Cornell is not concentrating PG 16 and above because he likes event organisers alias managers
I believe someone from top management trying hard to protect PG 16 & above
You think Cornell even has an understanding of who is being fired or contributions they made. All body count and dollars at his level

Give technical work to PG 16 and 17 and ask them to develop automation tools..

Totally agree with above post... PG 16, 17 are utter waste. Remove these positions.. Instead of them hire more developers and reduce contractors... Develop IP in India... One good decision of removing PG 16 and 17 in target will change company fortunes

Cornell feels PG 16 and above are back bone of target India... Mr. Cornell come to India to see how many managers have work to do... Don't go by clarity tasks... You are doing big mistake of targeting people who are really doing work...
