Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

6/17 - BPO COE Layoffs

VP and director emails asking for all BPO COE team members to be in the office tomorrow. If you are traveling or out of office they want contact information. Looks like tomorrow will be the day for layoffs in this COE, good luck everyone! I wonder how many will be impacted? Based off the amount of emails for contact information going out I would say it is going to be ugly!

BPO means, Business performance optimization! I hope I'm one of the lucky ones to get cut tomorrow. So tired of waiting and wondering. Horrible way to treat employees.

BPO COE has more transportation, distribution, and MPSD team members....it's not essentially store ops.

It is weird you don't know what BPO means. It's almost as if you don't work for Target.... BPO - an acronym that's been used for years at TGT.

Sorry but what does BPO stand for? Is it weird I don't know this, or is it just another sign of how convoluted this organization is?
