Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

I missed th Q today; did anyone take notes?

For those of us who were chained to our desks, or chain-smoking on 6th Street, can you help out with a summary of what was said? Any hints given as to when the next division/company/group will be jettisoned from the portfolio?

Fascinated with the fact that he mentioned and celebrated COEs and one of them was decimated today. Maybe he has a secret life as a poker player.

I guess if BC does not want transformation linked to layoffs, should stop laying people off and saying it is part of transformation. What doesn't he get.

I agree with 108318, good summary. I personally think the Q has lost its luster, I'm not interested in attending if it's going to be like this. non defensive updates would be nice.

Lots of talk about the CVS news. Someone did ask about changes at HQ and there was a, IMO, pretty poor answer about how transformation shouldn't be synonymous with layoffs but that changes will be coming. Nothing concrete.
