Check out their linkedin profile. They looking for modem engineers.... Better get plan B lined up in case plan A falls apart.

To support your argument that you are underpaid, go to the website for the Dept. of Labor's that scales whether your pay ha kept pace with the cost of living/inflation. Plug in your pay for the year you first were employed at Q, and your pay now.

The only way to prove that you are under paid is by getting a job offer with higher paid. Otherwise, any comparison is just theoretical. You can always point to how much SW engineers at Google are paid, but you don’t work for a company that prints money.

Most people at the Q are grossly underpaid. All of the executives at the Q are grossly overpaid.

Yes, start leaving for MTK. Last time people started to migrate north for Apple I got a 10% raise without asking for it.

Mediatek is having problem with excessively high OPEX, and so, hiring in SD is going to be limited. Mediatek’s problem with expense is partly resulted from setting up R&D design centers in US. It just costs more here. It could no longer copy, sell it cheap, and take over markets in China. That is done.
