Senior management needs to take notice. There's a reason why VERY talented leaders in all areas of the organization have followed someone north. It has as much to do with leaving some PEOPLE as it does following someONE. The innovators of what made APC a quality place have basically left the building. You may not like that said but most of us know - it's reality.

Anadarko sucks, it's not the same company it use to be when I came 2004. If only the market was better I would be out!!! I hope they have a huge lay off I would ask for a package.
Talent follows quality leadership and true integrity. The APC leaders with those qualities left the APC building over the last 2 years and moved north!
I left Anadarko 3 months ago to join Chesapeake was recruited in and I love the environment here Anadarko suffered big time when Walker took over and Hackett left the management team is old and used up all the way from the to the bottom. Sell the company already .
I'd leave today if the market was better in Denver or Houston. I think a LOT of people would leave APC if the market was better. Especially since they killed off VCP and the overall mood in our company is in the toilet.
Who really cares if people leave. There are just as good of people who can take their place. If you think this company will fold because of people leaving then you are naive. It happens all over the place every day and good companies keep on going. All the folks who don't like working at APC need to leave and let people who want and need a job take their place. It takes guts to walk out the door if you don't like it there. Be true to yourself and try something else. Talk is cheap.

Well said. APCs best days are in the past. There's no way to replace the quality of talent that has left APC in the last 18 months. It's felt and noticed ALL over the organization.
