Zenith employees were given a severance and will be paid regularly through the end of June
Former Instructor at WyoTech Fremont, Ca. We were fired by email SUNDAY (How do you get fired on your day off) 4-26-15, cleaned out desks and got final pay. No severance. The worst part is we didn't get to teach out to THIS Friday so STUDENTS COULD FINISH FINALS WEEK AND GRADUATE!
FWIW- The employees that were attached to the Tempe Service center are being laid off, too, but will be given 60-days pay per the WARN requirements.
If your state is an at-will state, they can dump you without giving you any notice. Even for closures.

I was a full time ECPO instructor...received my final paycheck with all deductions taken out of course, however no pay for vacation and no severance...just a form letter telling me that as of April 30th I was without insurance....bunch of damn cowardly crooks!!
You'll be lucky to get your last check
Here is the WARN Act that the OP is referencing. Judge for yourself. Even if it appplies here, good luck getting anything. http://www.doleta.gov/programs/factsht/warn.htm
Haha HAHAHA Hahaha that's the funniest thing I've ever read. Like they have that kind of money. Jack would have to give up his severance package and that ain't gonna happen.
Bwahahahahahahaha.....shut the f*** up. You are not going to get a nickel. That law doesn't apply to pos companies like CCI.
