Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Memo leaked

"We will prioritize investments, slow down hiring, and drive other efficiencies, including a performance-based involuntary separation package." - oh give me a break. We have been doing this for a while. How many layers of managers we have. How many of them have no direct reports. They should cut there.

Hi, its me the troll who posts 1/2 of the anonymous comments on this site. Today I decided to go back on my meds. So at least for today I'll try not to kick people while they're down. No promises about tomorrow. :)

I got laid off back in 2014. Two of the supervisors falsified two written warnings against me and I asked them if they wee sure they wanted to do this and turned them into HR for it. One of the two supervisors also discriminated against me and harassed me in front of my co-workers which I also informed HR about but they could care less about it and swept it under the rug. Eventually both Written Warnings were overturned but it was after I could have transferred to another fab. One of the two supervisors who falsified my WW that was overturned determined if I kept my job and needless to say I was laid off but on the plus side the next day both supervisors were also laid off. I recorded every conversation with HR and with the supervisors so I made sure I had evidence if I decided to sue them. Its all political at Intel at they purposely were writing people up to give them bad reviews unless you kissed your supervisors butts to keep your job and that wasn't my style. I went thru 6 layoffs at the Rio Rancho site and after the first one I saved as much money as I could and now don't have to work because of it. It was a very stressful environment not knowing if you would keep your job or not every time a layoff rolled around. Everyone would stab each other in the back to keep their jobs and also be under so much stress. Glad those days are behind me and I feel sorry to the ones still there that have to endure it.
