How do you know things are bad at Broadcom?
there is NOTHING to do in Sorrento Valley, except count Q buildings. Cultural wasteland. Just like anything in that area. But hey, you've got a Souplantation nearby. So that's something.

Sorrento Valley ss an excellent location near the water on a hill with access to multiple freeways. The further east you go, the hotter it gets. The more north you go the more traffic you hit. The more south you go the worse the neighborhoods are plus traffic. Or you can buy in carmel valley and pay through your nose. Highly over rated.
Because there is a technology advancement called "cars" when you can go anywhere you want to go in sd with a very short drive instead of paying that $400/month hoa just for the privilege of living in a cramped box that most of you won't ever be able to afford
"Bridge Over Troubled Water"
When you're weary, feeling small,
When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all;
I'm on your side. When times get rough
And friends just can't be found,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
When you're down and out,
When you're on the street,
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you.
I'll take your part.
When darkness comes
And pain is all around,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Sail on silvergirl,
Sail on by.
Your time has come to shine.
All your dreams are on their way.
See how they shine.
If you need a friend
I'm sailing right behind.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.

Why would anybody want to live near Sorrento valley. Should I buy in the boring hellhole of UTC to be close to the TGIFridays?
Lol. Why on earth would you buy in downtown if you work in Sorrento valley?
Hey QC folks, the downtown real estate market is HOT!!!! So hot that prices are falling, just like the proverbial workplace axe. Sell your RSUs and be that greater fool! We need people to prop up prices, especially if so many SoCal engineers with good incomes are being put to pasture!

With that kind of comparison it sounds like you are trying to divert attention away from troubles at Qualcomm. QC employees are far too smart for that tactic to succeed!
