Guys, Lay offs have happened. But I just want to express my opinion abt the ;whole layoff saga at Target. Any Target leadership listening here ? I am sorry I cant be diplomatic and beat around the bush, so am going to express what it is . Past two months, this saga has been going on. the only words I heard on the foor, cafeteria, cabs, lobby, elevators were "layoff, package & resignations" and uncertainity. How can you then expect employees to give their best, when the atmosphere is so sick? I understand transformaton, change as to happen, it's a part & parcel, however why cant you make it easy, crystal clear & transparent. Why couldnt leadership make it clear whether lay offs are happening or not for sure and if yes when exactly. Thats all. Its not easy, but if it has to happen, no one can help it. Atleast there wont be uncertainty, angst, stupid jokes around it, speculations. People will know what next steps to take acc to their priorities. Target, you dont have to trouble everyone, unnecessarily. Let their transparency. Just reaad the posts here itself and you can make out what conversations must have been happening in every bay, every day past some months. NOW IF THERE ARE MORE PHASES JUST LET EVERYONE KNOW THE DATES

"Business means uncertainty"? Sure but blatant stupity shouldn't be tolerated. Of course those in leadership would never be stupid would they? Knee at their feet and maybe they'll rub your belly.
