Jack you are the troll... This was not a trolling post at all!? The original speculated date was today and was simply wondering what people heard... I have posted like 2 things on this forum and not one of them has been a troll post.
The guy who put up the original post is likely the same troll that is here every day. He/she/it puts up meaningless BS like, "Today!? Is today the day for massive cuts???" all the time just to stir up anxiety.

Due to the lack of people worrying about 9am private meetings, I would assume not. Just keep on waiting...
one way to find out if layoff will be today, is to check service elevator area if they have staged boxes for people to pack and go...

It is amazing however how waiting for next cuts drag on and waste corporate dollars given they are reducing to create savings. Just confirmation on how inadequate most of the senior leaders at target are and how they do not understand how to most quickly and deciviely to solve problems. Great for team members that will eventually get cut as they stay on payroll longer. Poor sign for those that want to remain for the long term as the leaders in place today ain't going to turn this thing around
