Heard from a reliable source that layoffs will happen between 6/15-18th not 6/2 that everyone is expecting.

corrrction to my last sentence
read as forty plus
921 I read your view ok But there should be a perfect yardstick in applying l.of because it should not be pick & choose There should be seniority basis.Because the service & experince of an emplyee should count.it should start from junior most because they are younger and
find ther living where as thirty plus cant do
Pray your ALMIGHTY. He will solve everything because nothing is diffi cult for Him This is for all
921, if the demand is varying so much...you just need to outsource and keep everything in control. Why do u need 2.5K at TI why not 1k Tm + 1.5k Contractors
Don't worry Have faith in Him He will solve all problems So pray
888 you are dreaming. If you could find a way to do this every company in the world would hire you. Correctly guessing the exact amount of employees to do the work that needs to get done in such a big company is impossible. But one year you may have 100 large projects where the next year you only have 30. Layoffs are unavoidable. The reason layoffs at target are so bad right now though are because historically there had been very little layoffs at target and they got bloated.
Why cant these companies appoint only reqired number of employees to overcome this layoff demons lndeed layoff is demon
104805 - Work life balance was a crock... the only way to get promoted was to ensure you were putting in 60+hrs a week.
Agree to disagree 104795. Yes there is a risk with any job but Target tends to be on the riskier side of the twin cities market for restructures at the moment. That is a valid point to weigh when looking for your new job. Especially when Target's main offering has been stability and work life balance to employees. They are not known for top of the market pay
There is no company loyalty anymore anywhere.... the sooner you get that through your head the sooner you realize all employment engagements are just business transactions and should be treated as such. Therefore if something better comes along that pays more, I recommend you go for it because in the end we all work to make money.
Anonymous104767, unless your new employer guaranteed that you have a job for life, you should be worried too. We are all at risk.
I was already cut. Glad I no longer work in an environment that keeps their employees wondering who's next. It was painful working and waiting for the day to come, wondering if it was going to be you they cut.
Good luck on this next round of the waiting game.
My goodness – isn't it funny how when a person is drowning they will grab the person next to them and drag them down with them..come on people wer're one team and it's not good for any of us.
Guessing TTS could not meet timelines again
One day at a time, folks. One day at a time.
Always keep them guessing.
maybe they'll finally cut things like "global affairs" six figure jobs. can't handle canada. likely don't need a global officer dedicated to it either.
I heard weekly on every Thursday that is not an odd day but if even only divisible by 3.
Toxic environment when the board is always flooded with rumors....
I've also heard 6/9.
