I am long time professional IT worker that has been supporting Allscripts EHR software for over 10 years. I have over 30 years total IT experience, and I can say, without a doubt, it is absolutely the WORST performing application suite of software products that has ever come down the pike! It is constantly failing, hotfixes are released DAILY, hotfixes often cause more problems than they resolve, the documentation of many their products is lacking, their release schedules are never correct, and their technical support? The worst in the industry, bar none, good luck getting someone on the phone in the middle of the night that speaks English, Apu over in India is absolutely NO HELP! Now they are sending MORE jobs over there to these people to save money? GOOD LUCK WITH THAT! That's your biggest flaw you idiots! Whose running this company, Mr. Magoo? I am surprised this company is still in business, I have been saying for YEARS that I wouldn't be surprised if they lost ALL of their clients and went bankrupt, their product is so absolutely sketchy and unusable. I honestly don't know how it's lasted this long! The user community HATES it every where I have been, and for good reason. It doesn't work, not consistently anyway! Any of the "good" quality technical support people that have worked there over the years are long gone, most being replaced with low wage workers in India, and you could tell LONG AGO this was a recipe for disaster! But I bet it made some money for somebody, because these layoffs are only the beginning, I know of several other large Allscripts hospital clients that are rumored to be actively looking for replacement EHR systems, and will be punting them to the curb in the next few years, where they belong! It's the beginning of the end people here people, Allscripts has sucked for too long, it's about time they put themselves out of their own misery! Goodbye and GOOD RIDDANCE!

they s---, especially lately.
Bankruptcy is a little way off even after a three year prediction as old as this post. Interesting enough, check out MacroAxis. The probability is nearing 40%. Meaning.... you are better off putting your money on one number playing Keno in a Trump c-sino than investing your cash in Allscripts that consistently loses money for nearly a decade. Vegas odds are sadly better than how they manage the company. Go Shorts!
#Bankruptcy looming
Allscripts is terrible! Period. You can't expect for anyone to continue paying money for such an garbage product.
